Founded in 2007, Read India began with a singular, powerful vision: that the key to India's future lies in its villages. We recognised that while the nation was rapidly digitising, rural pockets were being left behind — not just in technology, but in fundamental access to resources.
Our journey started with a single community library and has since blossomed into a nationwide movement. We don't just build buildings; we build ecosystems. Our 'Community First' philosophy ensures that every centre is owned and managed by the villagers themselves, creating a sense of pride and sustainability.
